temple of the silent light
Built high up in the mountains, the temple is a place of training and contemplation for certain seelie casters. Set above the trees with branches grown into the foundation and walls, the temple is modeled in a shinto style, and the walk from the lower village is about a day on foot. From the mountain rise, the temple overlooks a distant Taliesin, and stretches into the mountain with a number of gardens and smaller buildings. A branch of the Pale Houses, but for the most part self governing, the temple chooses students who exhibit certain traits and ideals to come for special training if they so wish, specializing in healing arts. The monks of the silent light deal in magic of a spiritual nature, life, contemplation and meditation, and in the past years have been drawing further into seclusion; and away from the main body of the Pale Houses.

the wild basin
The basin a large, alpine meadow surrounded by tall, snow capped peaks. It's a place of varied ecology, where over sized fauna roam, and rare wildflowers and plants cover the land. Between the deep blue lakes, rocky outcrops, rolling hills, and fields of boulders covered in grass and moss meet small groves of tall fir trees. It's the only place in the cascades where you can find small herds of wild fae deer, and small shrines built by traveling groups of fae mark more sacred places. In the spring, the temple hosts festivals in the meadow, with some help from the neighboring village.

bellflower hollow
Settled at the base of the mountain where the temple of the silent light resides, bellflower hollow was one of the first towns settled by fae in the region. It's about as traditional fae as one can get; it's hard to say where the forest ends and the village begins because there's really no distinction. There's a dirt road that splits off the highway and brings you through a vast hemlock forest, where the trees are nearly as thick as skyscrapers. Quaint, wooden manors and houses sprout up between the pillars, and creep up the sides of the trees, built up like stairs. Wooden bridges string from branch to branch and cobbled stone staircases lined with hanging lamps bring you to the highest buildings. Groups of bellflower drape over the branches, while fireflies the size of hands twinkle from the lamps and stained glass windows.
