riverrun road
riverrun road is the financial center of the city: the highrises that house banks and investment houses, the bistros and classy coffeehouses on the ground floor -- and over all that, verdant moss, verdigris, colorful songbirds, and butterflies. sports cars glide past traffic lights wrapped in vines, and the sidewalks are dark with men and women in severe suits.

downtown taliesin
the thriving center of taliesin, downtown is a green-carpeted medley of highrise / rococo: of pink and baby-blue façades, glass-fronted structures with complex detailing in gold filigree, highrises wrapped in preternaturally lively swathes of jasmine. taliesin university sits at the far western edge, adjoining the river. to the north stands the millennium promise: a monument built at the turn of the century to celebrate fifty years of aos si and human "co-existence"; the top floor is a casino. luxury cars roll over moss that spills onto the tarmac and around lunch time the sidewalks are dark with suit-types.

industrial district
the industrial district of the city is compact but busy: a constant rush of cars and trucks rushing past factories and factory outlets. the roughwilds struggle to contend with the pall of smoke and the weight of concrete, so while there are fewer trees, the buildings are under layers of vines and creepers. the bricks are chipped, the metal is under a thick layer of moss and lichen.
