arianrhod
The nearest major city to Taliesin, Arianrhod experiences much more active growth then many other urban areas in the region. Plants need to be cleared daily to allow cars through the roads and most residents make due with bikes and walking. Houses and buildings are covered in flowering ivy, and traffic lights are hung from the large trees that dot the corners. Smaller then Taliesin, Arianrhod functions by way of it's second most profitable attraction. Natural hot-springs dot the city, and buildings and spas have been built on top of them to take advantage of the resource. Exotic and tropical non-native fruit trees are common, and provide interesting cuisine for tourists and those visiting the colosseum.

the gilded arena
The Gilded Arena is a massive colosseum built on the outskirts of Arianrhod, and serves as one of the city's main attractions. Crafted from stone and marble and enhanced with seelie protections, the arena is where many major sporting and entertainment events take place. Seelie duelists spar in delicate competitions, while races, tournaments, and theatre performances of many kinds draw crowds in from all areas. The best seats are reserved for the wealthiest of fae, and hidden, off the record gambling stations serve those who do not wish to tarnish the name of fae events. Below the building, gyms and spas for the athletes make up a wide network of services, as well as spartan housing arrangements for visiting competitors, or those in need of a place to stay.

shutter's yard
While under the jurisdiction of Arianrhod, Shutter's Yard is a slum sub-city that takes Taliesin's hives and makes them look like five star hotels. Situated in a shallow canyon, the pit was once used as a dumping ground for old junk and garbage. Moss and vines cover the rocky walls, and weave themselves through broken cars and the husks of decommissioned airplanes. Sewers and unused railroad tunnels are carpeted in green, and the poor humans who live here make their homes in the wrecks of overgrown buses, sheet metal shacks and ragged tents. Stone huts chiseled out the sides of the canyon crawl up the walls, and tarps wave from openings as makeshift doors. With the rate of infection from eschaton increasing, a portion of the yard has been sectioned off as a quarantine zone for those who refuse treatment, or can't afford it. Volunteers hope to contain the sick to the zone, but with the large poor population and lack of supplies, it's difficult to get anyone treated.
