briarwash briarwash is one of the oldest suburbs in taliesin, with big old houses widely spaced over uneven hills: since the roughwild contamination, the spaces between houses have filled up with forest; some of the houses have filled up, too, or been reconstructed in the boughs of trees that sprang up as wide around as the house used to be. here are weatherboards covered in moss, white picket fences listing under the weight of wisterias that have overgrown and smothered whole gardens, garages absorbed by the trees that once shaded them, wide rolling roads cracked by roots and growth. in spring it smells of honeysuckle.	2	39	burnt and purged away [r] by thom pendragon Sept 18, 2012 11:42:05 GMT -5
danu's blessing danu's blessing spreads out around a train station originally built when america still had a frontier and buffers the venerable rail complex from the encroaching forestation. the roughwilds push up against convoluted suburb streets of repeating houses, where any two could be identical except for which has a redwood through the living room and which has to trim unruly honeysuckle to stop it coming in through the attic and spreading to the bedrooms. there have been recent surges of illegal rituals performed in some of the older houses on the edges of the suburb, where it meets briarwash, and aos si are not especially welcome here.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
abhartach abhartach was built after the aos si breached; at some point it was a gated community but the gates have mostly come down and been tied open by thick layers of vine and creeper. houses here stand close together with the roughwilds coming between and through; the architectural style is an early attempt to mix modern human aesthetics with the baroque tastes of the aos si, resulting in strange spires and extraneous arches and ugly attempts to cast concrete into the filigree detail typical of aos si buildings. some houses stand abandoned, husks absorbed by the encroaching reforestation.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.

motyura describes the region of suburbs and residential areas around taliesin, specifically to the north and west: here are sprawling suburban developments under pressure from the feywilds. the forest bursts up and through, filling all space between houses and sometimes coming up through them, with creepers and vines climbing between. regions half wild.
