temple of the silent light

Built high up in the mountains, the temple is a place of training and contemplation for certain seelie casters. Set above the trees with branches grown into the foundation and walls, the temple is modeled in a shinto style, and the walk from the lower village is about a day on foot. From the mountain rise, the temple overlooks a distant Taliesin, and stretches into the mountain with a number of gardens and smaller buildings. A branch of the Pale Houses, but for the most part self governing, the temple chooses students who exhibit certain traits and ideals to come for special training if they so wish, specializing in healing arts. The monks of the silent light deal in magic of a spiritual nature, life, contemplation and meditation, and in the past years have been drawing further into seclusion; and away from the main body of the Pale Houses.
